The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management Wroclaw Branch is organizing a conference on the 60 anniversary of its establishment. Within that period IMGW Wroclaw Branch has been performing a wide range of scientific activates in close cooperation with the universities and the research institutions coping with climatology, hydrology, water management and environmental protection all over the country. Facing modern challenges in these areas requires complex and multidisciplinary solutions combining scientific research and engineering works. We would like to invite everyone interested in climate, water and environment issues to share knowledge, ideas, expertise, innovations, practices, case studies and visions concerning the most recent achievements as well as the historical background. By gathering scientists, specialists and experienced persons, the conference should become a forum for the scientific exchange of views and experience.

Authors wishing to present a paper must submit a summary of the proposed content of the presentation. The Scientific Programme Committee will review all abstracts and make selections based on content, objectives, relevance to the conference themes, and the evaluation criteria. The selected presentations will be published as a compact publication after the conference. The deadline for abstract submissions is May 15, 2007 (no more than 1 page A4). All persons who submit abstracts will receive notification of the committee's decision no later than May 31, 2007.
