  Legend
Legend

Precipitation is represented by the radar reflectivity factor. This is a complex function of concentration and diameter of drops, snow flakes or hailstones. A rough relationship between the reflectivity factor and the precipitation intensity is shown by the Legend.

The extremely heavy precipitation (over 55dBZ) is represented with the same colour as the very heavy one of (50..55dBZ).
