B.2.12.2: Organisation structure




Scope / Objectives

  • Strengthen IMGW institutional and human capacity to effectively and efficiently implement SMOK
  • Ensure the SMOK Project quality through appropriate supervision of implementation and delivery of the individual B2 tasks.




Specific Objectives
  • Technical co-ordination of a timely delivery of the individual system components
  • Technical supervision of the final delivery of SMOK system development tasks
  • Co-ordination of SMOK development with other Components of the Flood Recovery Project, notably B.1 and B.4
  • Co-ordination of the System with the similar systems operated by the neighbouring countries
  • Review of contractor plans and activities v. the entire system, i.e., ensure compatibility of all system components
  • Assessment of the potential to reduce the financial investment and operating costs without impacting the system performance
  • Quality Assurance of the entire system and its constituent parts
